The Beatles Influence on Teenage Culture
Many parents of the teens who were listening to The Beatles, thought that The Beatles were influencing those kids to do drugs. There had never really been a problem with teenage drug abuse until The Beatles mainstreamed it. They had mentions of it in their songs like "A Day in The Life", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and others. But The Beatles were responsible for the drug use in teens. They represented it. They were also the first band that had every openly admitted to using.
